PAYG Pac Code - who's the easiest
Options
Which PAYG company provides the quickest/easiest PAC Code. (not orange)
Well I have Line 2 on orange contract which i want to change to a new orange contract line keeping my Line one contract aswell. Orange CS have informed me that they are unable to put this number on a new contract. I can keep the number but have to port it onto another network. (silly i know, no wonder they keep losing customers)
I want to port back to orange as i have my eyes set on the new M700 PDA phone which is only avaible on orange.
Orange CS said that i can port this number back to them from another PAYG network. A long process i know, but i want to know how easy is it to port a PAYG number from another provider onto orange. Anyone done this before?
Do i have to be on PAYG for a certain period of time before that network gives me my PAC code?
Thanks

Not to do much the other network, but, unless it's changed, you can't port back to Orange within 28 days of porting out. Might be worth checking with CS to confirm that ...0

I Have exactly the same problem having left my company (which has their number on line 1) - I am however considering the one month SIM tariff from Vodafone (ie £20/month with 300 X-network minutes) as I have just aquired a palm 750v. However the Data cost is expensive at £2.35p/MB so I was also considering T-mobile as a PAYG as their £1/day (max) Web/Walk tariff is quite good for email/web surfing and it's only 12p min to any UK network.0
