Anyone got advise on how to sell my house quickly. We're registered with an estate agent house has been in local press and nothing. It's not overpriced or so we were told.
Is there any alternative/additional ways to sell the property.

This all depends on alot of factors - number one being what the market is like in your area at the moment. Is the market relatively bouyant? Check on rightmove - are properties coming on and selling v quickly? If they are, and yours is not getting any interest then that would either suggest your EA is complete rubbish or you're house is over-priced, or your in an area where houses are hard to shift.
Make sure your house is on the internet (rightmove definitely) and that the details show it in the best possible light. Are the pictures really good quality, cos something may well be putting people off even getting inside.
So, if the market is dead you'll have to be patient. If the market is buoyant then you may need to consider dropping the price - how desperate are you to sell?
Other option is to go with another agent - some of them really are useless. I would recommend housenetwork.co.uk, but only if your house is not hard to sell for any reason.
Good luck! You'll never see a rainbow if you don't first put up with the rain . . . :happylove0
