I'm very happy with my bank, but please don't move here. It's people like you who make banking more expensive :)

Accounts with Nat West and HSBC which we use online banking for. It's great and in fact I personally prefer the HSBC system over the two.

Credit cards - all paid online - several different providers.

OP - you are making excuses - you say time is better spent watching your pensions - well what about all the time you spend writing cheques, paying in slips, addressing envelopes, buying and sticking on stamps. That all adds up both financially for the paper, ink, stamps etc plus your time.

I know which way I'd rather go - whilst you're walking down to the post office to post your payment, mine is paid and I'm watching my pension - and saving on the shoe leather!
