New offer from Scottish Power
Options
I've had a 2 year capped price for dual fuel from SP. It ends in June.
Today I've had an email from them asking me to consider a new 2 year fixed price offer. I assume everyone who has the capped pice ending in JUne will get this. As it's been capped for nearly 2 years I fully expect the fixed price to be higher than I'm currently paying. I've looked for info on the main part of the MSE site but nothing has appeared yet. Does anyone have any advice on this? I realise that this would be a good deal if prices are expected to jump over the next 2 years but need to compare Sp's offer and am not sure if it will appear in any comparison tables yet. Of course my capped price is good until June so I don't know if it's wise to change to a fixed rate yet.
Edit: They are offering me a Unifi system free if I tke up the fixed price tarrif.

My point was that a cap or a fix can be either good, bad, or terrible, depending on what level you cap or fix at.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
