scaffolding left on my property

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place- but we've had solar panels fitted and the scaffolding has been left on our property since the end of November 2011. We've phoned the solar panel company who had it erected several times to get it removed and had no response. Can anyone tell me what our rights are? I think having the scaffolding here long term may affect our house insurance as well but am not sure- it's also in the way -any advice?- thanks

Useful link (that actually mentions scaffolding as an example) that details what to do in cases like this and what steps you can take before selling/disposing of the property.

Just remember, if you follow necessary steps in order to sell/dispose of them and you end up selling them.....it must be for a fair price (can't sell it at knockoff rates), and you should keep that money in an account (separate one if possible) for 6 years to be made available to them if they ever claim it.

However, in the meantime......you can also charge them reasonable "storage" costs :)

It probably doesn't belong to the Solar people.
I know when we had the roof replaced he arranged with a different scaffolding firm to come a few days before and they came after he;d finished. I suppose most do a similar sub-contract, if you find out the name of the scaffold firm phone them.
