I got £1000 last April
And getting another £630 this April
Minimum NI contributions are a great thing💙💛 💔0 -
I had a pay rise last October, but only because the statutory minimum wage increased! Privatised post offices are not about to pay any more than they have to.0

I've never had a pay rise. I still get the same hourly rate I started on 4yrs ago, except now i have less hours :0(0

I got a pay rise just before Christmas, as part of the new EU rules on pay for temporary staff (ie having to be in line with people doing the same job and employed by the business), but I suspect that doesn't count..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0

I only work part time now I've got children but even before that when full time every time it came to getting a pay rise in april, my work would class any govt rise in the minimum wage that tax year as a rise so they wouldn't give u any extra in April! Typical big business.0

I'm a hard working NHS employee, effectively we've had a PAY CUT!0

10% pay rise announced this week, am very fortunate to have picked a sector that has been recession proof. I have had decent pay rises for the last 8 years.0

Looking at the poll results my immeidate reaction is "and they say those in the private sector have it tough compared to the public sector". Not on those results. Public sector workers have had a real terms pay cut for at least the last two years and another year yet to come.0
