Combi ... Baxi vs. Worcester?

Our old boiler has packed up and we are trying to decide between the Baxi duo tec 40 and the Worcester 42cdi.

Please has anyone any experience of either of these in terms of reliablity etc.

I'm curious as to how the Baxi made it onto your short list? Suggested by a BG installer perhaps?

Hi macman, yup! He swears by them, whilst reading on here people seem to swear at them!

Looks like the 42cdi with a 7 year warranty, me thinks.

42cdi is a quality boiler, baxi not so quality, you pay for what you get, worcesters after sales are very good. a vaillant ecotec 837 would also get my vote
