charge phones and laptop at work
make sure the Ebay items I have purchased/sold have all been paid update s/sheet accordingly for and await my goodies
all food for the whole week from stores although free lunch Friday from conference I am attending
remind DH to move the money between accounts
try not to cry and scare the masses at work
actually do some work I have to complete before Friday

    Hugs to everyone in need

mrs h - when you say youve set up e-savers to use as virtual spend pots how does this work? Ive set up an e-saver today in the hope that one day i will have enough money to pop into it and "save" looked on the Savings board earlier and it scared me with everyone on there saying 3-12months salary should be kept in savings........i think ill struggle to save anything never mind those amounts!
  • hi & welcome mon1o! I think what mrs h means is she has a bank acc that allows her to set up individual pots to save in - like car, ins, xmas etc. Some banks do it. Mine doesn't and when I looked into it previously the interest on the one I was looking at wasn't great. I have instead set up a savings account and keep track of what is in each pot" its really whatever works for each individual person.

I wouldn't worry re the savings - general advice is to have a 3-12 months salary saved up in case of the worst & its taken me a year and a half to save up 4 months salary. And to be fair should either myself or my partner were to loose our jobs I could guarantee that we could slash our outgoings by 1/2 so that would last double the time.

However while you have debts its best to just focus on those with a small emergency fund x

Thanks for starting us Spendaholic, nice work on the ebay front, I sold 5 items this weekend

Considering I had 31 items listed, it was a poor show really - but not complaining as after fees I think i have about £30 profit - need to work it out

I struggled with that today - boss told me to go home at 1.15pm - it was 4.35pm before I actually went, a whole 10 minutes early

Shame you couldnt actually get away from work, how are you feeling? Have you any chance of an early night? - it might help you re-charge your batteries and allieviate the cold symptoms.
