Help reclaiming full PPI amount due required

Thanks for reading my post.
I took out 2 personal loans with Tesco back in 2004 & 2006.
I raised a PPI claim with them through Claims 4 Refunds (C4R).
I signed the forms for them to work on my behalf, but I havent made the goodwill payment of £1 to them as it was rejected as there was no funds in my account.
I recieved a letter from Tesco offering me a settlement offer for my PPI claim for just over £4,500. I wasnt expecting such a large settlement figure and I want to keep all of it and use it for other debt reconciliation.
Im unsure if C4R have been informed of the settlement offer from Tesco.
Is there a way to get the full settlement without C4R getting the approx 30% that their fee entitles them to? Essentially all C4R have done has sent some letters to Tesco and other companies thant I'm raising claims against.
Is it possible to contact Tesco and ask them to only deal with me and have no more contact with C4R.
I recieved a letter a few weeks back from C4R advising me not to accept offers from any of the companies directly but only through C4R. I believe that this is just C4R wanting to protect their percentage of my claim.
Has anyone else been in the same situation and done this to stop a claims company from getting their percentage?
Is it possible to do this?
Any advice you can give would be greatfully recieved.
Thanks

It could be possible, but is it really fair? You agreed to pay them this amount, so why are you backing out now?0

Unfortunately no, you signed a contract with them and they are entitled to their fee. Tesco will have informed them of the redress you can be sure.Successes
