Has anyone tried to reclaim PPI on a currrent mortgage?
I am worried that if I try to claim my bank may just cancel the mortgage and i will lose my home.

theres nothing wrong with having insurance to protect your mortgage payments. they cant just cancel a mortgage because they feel like it.0

They can't do that simply because you complain.
However the prospect of losing your home is clearly a concern to you and is a real possibility if your income stops through illness or job loss.
With that in mind, PPI for your mortgage seems to be appropriate for you and unlikely to have been missold.0
