Thanks for the advice re speakers, but I really dont care what noise they make-just a bit of noise!
I have a huge sound system at present: 6 individual speakers plus an enormous one (a woofer?) that I cant wait to get rid of. Cables and stuff everywhere.
I just want to be able to hear a little 'ding' when Ive done something wrong or a 'plip' when Ive got new email etc etc. I have very low expecations!
Thanks though!“All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Charles M Schulz0 -

I bought this model a while ago at £140 which I found to be good value then, never mind if you can get it now for £111! Never used the speakers because I've got M-Audio speakers but can't complain about the design or build quality at all. Well worth the money - I have it set to the 1440 x 900 setting myself.0

My present settings with DVI cable are (if using the supplied VGA cable you may have to increase the values by 10-25):
Brightness: 25
Contrast: 70
Colour: User - R G B (all 60)
I also adjusted many Windows Display settings, enabled ClearType, increased the mouse pointer to 'extra large' & enabled a permanent zoom/text size increase in my browsers (see here, here, here & here for instructions).0 -
The place I bought this from months back is selling it for £115.14 inc VAT... need to check the delivery, but I think it says express delivery from £2.49 + VAT. The site is overclockers.co.uk ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-017-OK&groupid=17&catid=276&subcat= )0
