How long does it typically take the insurance company to repair a damage?
Wondering how long we'll be without the car.

Never
The insurance company dont repair it.
How long will it take the repair shop? Depends how busy they are and how difficult your repair is and how long to obtain the correct parts or paint etc.

If it's just a new bumper, two days.
Rebuilding front end, and suspension, followed by respray, two weeks.
And that's from the insurance company agreeing to the quote and the garage giving a date for starting the work."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
