CD rewriter will not write

Apologies for hi - jacking but can anyone show some light on this problem?
Up until a few days ago my cd rewriter was working fine. Copying files/folders to cd was ok. Upgraded to the latest version of media player, now the rewriter will not write to cd. Probably a conincidence I know, but there you go. In the meantime, using Nero, I can still burn to cd. Any ideas anyone?

Problem solved. I cleaned down the pc and restarted the whole wonderful process of reloading everything. CD rewriter now works fine. However, I'm now having trouble with internet explorer not running scripts on various sites. The main culprit is CAG.
Any thoughts on this one?0
