Just one question, not qualified to answer any of your questions really.November isnt really a month you would consider to be peak. How come they couldnt just put you into another apartment.Dont tell me none of them had been cleaned.Sorry about your injury.
  • just to clarify

*your* child was using a toy which accidentally bumped *your* nose using a toy

soft play means the surfaces not all the toys are soft in these play areas

it sounds like a genuine accident and can see why center parcs would have no liability
Baby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.
  • Seems to me also to be just a genuine accident, please not let us get into too much of a "blame culture" like the USA.

    yep, get over it.
  • It's not clear from the original post whether the rocker was designed to move in the way that it did when it accidentally hit the OP's face.

If it was one of those rockers on a spring type arrangement which allows the child to move in all directions like a maniac (yep, I am the mother of one of those maniacs!) then I can understand how the accident happened and why Center Parcs response is that it was an unfortunate accident that they are not responsible for.

However, if the rocker was not designed to move in the way it did when it hit the OP's face and the toy was faulty then I can understand why the OP wanted it removed from the play area. I would think this would be the only reason they would remove it and the only circumstance in which Center Parcs would be responsible.
