I use Mozilla Firefox and it has been trouble free up till now.
I opened first Direct Home page and when I clicked on internet banking, it opened in a really small section and only showed a third of the page, it did expand ok,
I've just been on the virgin game site and when I click on "refer a friend" that opens in a small section but won't expand (doesn't have the option)
Some other sites are doing this aswel
Any advice anyone?

Lazy system development means that companies with vast amounts of cash, design, program and test their websites only for Windows and Internet Explorer. Virgin even excludes Netscape Navigator.
Try viewing the two sites in IE and Mozilla, see if they behave the same.
I guess you don't refer a friend too often and you haven't come across this problem before.
Keep using FireFox and think of it as a money saving lucky escape.

Thanks, Yes you're right, I just tried First Direct and it worked fine with Internet Explorer.
I'll stick with Firefox, I find it much better0 -
You could use the view in IE tab extension available on the Mozilla website, it will save a bit of time.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
there is an extension for fire focx called Ie tab .When clicked it will view your site as though in ie 70

Another FF extension for this is IE View, which opens a separate instance of IE to view a particular page, selected from the right click menu. You can also set it to always open particular websites in IE.0
