  • Phew, I thought I was going mad when the forum went squiffy!

I have a Black and Decker steam mop for my floors and I love it, it warms up very fast and cleans the floors beautifully.

I've had a cheap and cheerful JML one (£40) for a while now and it's not bad.

But these days I have a cleaning lady pop in for a couple of hours a week and she uses a Karcher 1122 and it beats the socks off my thing. No longer easily available it would seem but a Karcher of similar spec might well be worth a look if your budget allows.
