Looking on their website and can't see how you go about closing a Business bank account? I presume I have to go into a branch and close it?

Is the account in credit ?
Have all interest and charges been paid on it?
If so send a letter to them asking to close the account -tell them that all cheques and cards on the account have been destroyed- and ask for a cheque for the balance (or transfer to another HSBC account.0 -
There's no funds in the account now, company is all closed too.0

Does that mean its overdrawn with more interest and charges to pay?
If so you can't close it.
If it is a Limited company which has been struck off at companies house there is nothing that you can do.0 -
Pop in to branch with a letter stating you wish to close it. I know that when we have bought out contracts/other companies, they have come with relevant bank accounts that we’ve closed.
My Commercial Manager will do it there and then, but I know it’s to the discretion of the bank.💙💛 💔0
