Halifax One Card and paper-free service

I've just activated my new Halifax One Card and signed up for the online service. I was told when I applied for the card that I could avail of their paper-free service - however I've tried to activate this and it doesn't seem to apply to credit cards.

Have any One Card holders managed to activate the paper-free service for their card?

I've gone completely paper-free with my Nationwide bank account, TalkTalk and my last credit card (Skycard). It cuts down on the amount of needless letters coming through the letterbox when all (or most) banking institutions and phone/broadband providers have more than decent online services from which you can view or download statements whenever you like.

I'll ring Halifax in the morning - but in the meantime - has anyone managed to avail of the paper-free service for the Halifax One Credit Card?

Hi,

The paper free service means viewing your statements online.

Call on 08457 283848 for credit card servicing or on 08456 020000 for online helpdesk and ask to regester for online banking with your card. They will issue you with the info you need, (p/w will prob come in post fro security reasons) and then you will be "paperless."

If you call the online helpdesk, you will need to be put through to CC to put a block on your statements.

EDIT: Have just seen that you have already applied for online service; call CC on 283848 and ask not to send paper statements out. Then you can view them online. Now where's that coffee?!?

will they let you do it online?Because it is not in the listed accounts that have this function,would also suit me better to be paperless
