PPI Claim LloydsTSB

I wonder if anyone can help. We are experiencing the most frustrating PPI claim possible! After a long battle we have received 3 separate offer letters for 9 loans (approximately £10,000 but each offer shows slightly different amounts!). Our acceptance letter was signed and returned in December and new figures have just been calculated with interest up to February 2012. We then received a letter from a team leader at the bank who has decided that they have made a mistake with one of the loan refunds and the amount offered (£2,800) has been withdrawn! Are they allowed to do this? He has agreed that our case file is 'a shambolic mess' (his words)and he has offered us £500 in compensation. We are definitely looking for an amount of compensation but not at the expense of losing £2,800! I'm determined to keep going with this but its wearing me down! If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful, Nicky.

You need to know the exact loan ppi for each loan, when it was opened and settled.
This is the only way you will know why this one has been withdrawn, there could be a number of possible reasons this has happened, you will have to get the full breakdown of all loans and the one that was withdrawn with the reason why.0 -
Thanks! We have provided them with loan agreements, business loan repayment schedules and bank statements which show premiums, dates, account numbers etc. Lloyds have confirmed that for this particular loan it appears that in place of a loan number someone at the branch inadvertently completed the appropriate section of the business loan repayment schedule with our bank account number so they are saying that they cannot refund something which was not a loan (even though it clearly was a loan!) What I cannot understand is how they are allowed to provide us with a formal offer letter giving us the option of accepting the refunds 'in full and final settlement' by signing and returning the form only to withdraw the offer. I think I will have to tell them I'm taking my case to the FOS and see what kind of response I get. Thanks again0
