Cleaning up after an incontinent cat

Thanks krlyr, underneath the towels I have the puppypads (60x60cm), but it's easier to cover the sofas with the towels as the fold better on corners/arms. Then there's a couple of layers of plastic too...
Just my luck I got new sofas a month ago
But there's nothing I can do as the living room is the best place for her to be, away from the carpet.. can't think of any other solution for the moment.
I just can't think of inviting guests to my house right now!!0 -
you could try putting a tiny baby nappy on her, cut a hole for her tail, seal the cut edges with tape, though you can get cat nappies.

I know.. but what about no. 2??? If it was only pee, I would put her on a nappy... but I think it can get very messy!
Anyone using nappies on cats?0 -
Nope, but I have a Great dane in pants. He has fecal incontinence and the accidents just fall down into a little pouch in the pants so he is not sitting in it so to speak. Of course I change him as soon as I notice (which isn't long!) but not messy unless there is a bad belly situation of course and it solves that problem.
You could try nappies and just pop it off when cat goes towards its tray?
Our dog ones are washable so not continually buying.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Thanks ManicFaerie. I have an elderly diabetic kitty who uses her tray fine, but has taken a shine to the corner of the tiled utility room. I have bleached it, scrubbed it, steam cleaned it, Feliway-ed it and peppered it. I have just ordered some Urine Off...0
