You could always set up your own fake profile and see if he is a paid member as the men have to pay on there or check bank/card statements.

Or get a friend to check, also check plenty of fish as it is completely free.

I'd do what Lisa's said and set up a fake profile - men cant set one up by mistake or by accident as they are the ones who pay for the site.

not that anyone could accidentally set up a profile on a dating site......!!

Girlsdateforfree have a new scam to get more money out of you.
Be aware of it.
After signing up for subscription you now find it much harder to cancel,
When you click cancel, you then get, two choices.
Do a call online - which when i tried did not work
or
Phone a 0845 number.
If you use a mobile its going to cost you.
They ask lots of questions to keep you on the phone.

This is a scheme that makes it costly and harder to leave.
Think about it ....If you signed in with your user name and password then you do not need to make a call to cancel - secondly they do not require it if you want to make a payment, funny that.
Infact i only went on to look at payment options and because they had my details already, looking at the payment pages was enough for them to take payment. Not once did i click buy or anything, first i knew of it was when an email popped up saying thanks for payment.
This is a desperate company with few users on it trying to get customers and money anyway they can. Try other better sites that do not use underhand schemes and sly ways to rob you.
They must have new owners or something at girlsdateforfree as it was not like this previously.
