Ipod in BMW Mini One

Hi, im getting fed up with using an FM transmitter for my ipod and want to link it to my car stereo. Ive got a BMW Mini One made in 2001, i took the radio out hoping to see a pair of aux plugs, but there isnt. Does anyone know what cable i could but.
