Prepaid debit card

Does anyone know if Barclays do a prepaid debit card? If so, what is the link to their webpage?

Barclays don't no. There are a number of these available now. They all attract fees to run them one way or another. You could also check out https://www.extremcred.com and https://www.cashplus.co.uk A Clydesdale/Yorkshire Bank readycash account has a Maestro card and it's free

Loads of places issue these now.

Travelex do a Visa Electron based one, designed for use abroad but can be used in the UK also.

I don't see the attraction unless you really can't get a bank account with a debit card. Most basic accounts now come with some form of debit card.

They trialled one around Leeds almost 10 years ago - think it was called something like VisaCash. I remember some car parks were half price if you used it and even the the Local had a reader (think they used it twice in a year..).
