Window Blinds Appointments Query

I'm wanting to make some appointments with a few local blind suppliers/fitters to get some quotes. The best day for me is next Friday .... I've rang one blind company who can't give me a specific time for an appointment, ie they will visit me between 1-3 but ring half an hour beforehand.

I need to ring the others, what happens if one company can offer an appointment at say 2.30pm prompt - is it rude to have more than one company in the house at the same time, any advice? My husband will be there so he could be with one in one room and I could be with another in another room, but is that okay.

Not at all.

I would not worry about it, if two companies are there the same time, I don't see an issue.

A friend once did this with double glazing.

He invited four companies to quote, all arranged for the same time, told them "first out the door,with the lowest writen quote, gets the order tommorow!"

Worked well for him.
