Did we ever have a garage en bloc?

Hi, I’ve just bought a new house with the garden backing onto a set of garages en bloc. When we were shown the house we was told that it didn’t have a garage etc - which was fine as we have a double driveway and parking in front of the house.
I just wanted to know how to find out if there ever was a garage that belonged to the house that was previously sold as more storage space would be good.

If it was previously sold, what difference does it make?
Check your deeds. Your solicitor will have sent you a copy when you bought the house.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
