I looked in Sainsburys today and couldn't find it anywhere. I searched high and low, also asked a couple of SAs and got blank looks but I expected that. I looked near the pasta, the rice, the oriental section, the pulses and nothing.
I looked in Lidl the other day and couldn't see any there either.

Wow, thanks for the super quick reply. The two nearest Tesco's to me are both the little convienience ones though so not sure if they would have it. Need to take a trip to the big one really. It's a bit more out of the way for me though.0

I buy mine from Sainsbury's but can't remember which aisle it's in. I'll look next time I'm shopping.0

It's worth checking out your local health food shop, and pricing it up there. For things like that and wild rice I've quite often found it cheaper.0

If you know where to find couscous you know where to find bulgar wheat. If you can't find it there, the shop probably doesn't have it.
At the proper (i.e. non-Metro/Express) Tesco's, you'll find it in little brown Tesco-brand packs in amongst the packs of couscous, dried beans & lentils. At Somerfield you will find it in greenish brown boxes near the couscous and next to the quinoa (which also comes in greenish brown boxes). The Somerfield stuff is organic, too.
I love bulgar wheat, it's so easy to cook and it's yummy all by itself with butter. It's got a lovely nutty flavour.Operation Get in Shape

Bargain Rzl, I'm sure I saw it in Bexleyheath Asda last weekend.. I have an idea it was with the gluten-free foods, as I was browsing to see if they had anything new there. I'm not sure if it was meant to be there or if it had just been put in the wrong place! Good luck with it - might be less hassle than going to the big Tesco, which I avoid like the plague.0

Sorry Bargain, I seem to have got confused there and thought it was you who was having trouble finding it! It sounds very nice anyway, must try it.0

it's in my local sainsburys with the rest of the pulses.0
