Isofix car seat better than`normal` ones?

Hi

Right I have got myself a new car and was thinking as we will be spensing more time on the road-need to update the car seats.

I have 2 boys, youngest nearly 5 and 20kg and the other 7 1/2 and 25kg so looking at stage 2-3 seats.

But I am sure I have read some where that the isofix seats in this range are not much better than the `normal` ones?

Done a few searchs with differant search engines but can not find much.

Any Ideas where I can look?
