NatWest E-ISA (Pre-15/5/09 Accounts)

Members of the forum who have a NatWest E-ISA will recall that there were two sets of banded interest rates for this account quoted on the bank's website. The set applicable depended on whether the account was opened on or before 14/5/09, or thereafter, the latter attracting lower rates. This layout was shown in full until recently (within the last two weeks).

On checking the rates today here:

http://www.natwest.com/personal/savings/g2/isas/e-isa.ashx?coid=NWEST_HP4_NW_PERS_TC_HP_ROW2_eISA_Loans_Jan11&intcam=bnr_SavQ1eISARatePersHPSml_0211

— I was disturbed to see that the relevant page now only shows the post-14/9/09 rates — the pre-15/5/09 rates have disappeared from the main page.

Thankfully, however, the pre-15/5/09 preferential rates are still shown among "current rates" on this page here:

Even so, I strongly suggest you check that you're getting the right rate when your next interest instalment falls due. It might be a good idea to copy the second web page given above in case NatWest get it wrong!
