The screws on the door won't turn and the screws on the cupbpoard are rusted. WD40 hasn't worked. neither has lemon juice (?) . It possibly just needs someone sa bit stronger than me. The top door is off so it is a bit lighter, I can wiggle the side attached to the other cupboard. i just needa new stanley knife to cut throught the sealent on the other side,

No matter what other bodge jobs the did on the house. They certainly attached this to the wall well!

No urgency now as the repair company can't fix it till next friday 1st of March!! . That'll be three wweeks with no heating and hot water. and two weeks witth the kitchen upside down - and not just through me hating washing up!

I did it! I know to all you DIYers it seems easy but I am please with myself. They had removed the skirting board which is a shame.

I noticed some damp sport (black mouldy) on the gap between the cabinet attached to the outside wall and the wall this cabinet was attached to, Not sure if that something to worry about.

Also I have taken a couple of chunks of plaster from the wall. But I siuppose some polyfiller will sort that, although last time I made a real mess of it.

Boiler is finally fixed and lovely heat is now pumping from the radiators.

i thought I had got away with it, even had some light reflecting paint left to cover the marks on the wall

i moved the cupboard back but unfortunately one of the back legs snapped off. Typically the one thats impossible to hold in place whilst moving. I have no idea how to resolves this nor can I get the rest of the cupboard to match up with existing wall or work top holes.

So the option is to get something in its place but the gap is only about 65cm wide.

i don't suppose anyone can tell from the picture I posted earlier what range it was from?

    Thanks for your help.

What's snapped off? One of the legs?. You can buy sets of plastic adjustable legs from B and Q - you screw them onto the bottom of the cabinet.
