to all intending to buy electronics from asda i would storngly advise to avoid durabrand like the plague. we manage/run bedsit properties and purchase same items in reasonable quantities (15-20) some little time ago we bought a quantity of durabrand alarm clock radios to provide in rooms. not one unit has performed properly and the majority have ended up in the recyciling. we now buy tecknics from tesco. much better product far more reliable and value for money.

Why did you not take them back and ask Asda to provide a suitable remedy?0

my duraband clock radio is 2/3 yrs old and still going strong. You really should've taken them back and got a refund or exchange.0
