I was sent a parking ticket for stopping in a loading bay in Bolton town centre, I got lost looking for the Holiday Inn hotel so I stopped to ask a lady for directions, I was out of the car less than I minute my wife and child were sitting in the car, when I got home to Scotland there was a 70 pounds ticket waiting for me, do you think I have any grounds for appeal. cheers.

Sounds like a geniune council ticket, so the best course of action is to the head over to Peepipoo and post the ticket removing any personal details to see if there is grounds for appeal.0

The times on the ticket, it must have 2 times, observed from and issued, can you post the times and also the code on the ticket for the offence.
Hopefully they wont have allowed enough time to observe loading.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

You can appeal most Council parking tickets successfully.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
