Can they retract upheld claim

Hi sorry if this is a bit long. I have had an offer from santander for full repayment of ppi plus 8% interest which is great it is upheld, but the payments are for 56 months and not the 96 months I have actually paid, I sent letter telling them this and have received one back saying they are sorry and will not be paying more. However if I can prove these payments were made, which I can as I have bank statements, they will reinvestigate. This is where I am unclear if I let them reinvestigate can they say there is no claim after all or will they have to still uphold it.

Hope this makes sense

    You have the offer letter which is proof that they agree you were mis sold ;) When they say they will re investigate they just mean re calculate using the extra statements you send. Get them photocopied, send the copies, recorded delivery and let them re calculate based on the full 96 months :) Well done on keeping your statements, happy days :T

    Thank you Dilus I have copied everything and sent, just wait now and see what they say or for a large cheque to arrive :
