Loan in wife's name only

A woman in my street married and had kids. House was bought at top of the market in his name only. He got her to take out loans in her name though she wasn't working, for exotic family holidays and new car, had an affair and left. She was left with no income or maintenance from him, no equity in the house and debts in her name she couldn't pay. Ex-husband declared bankruptcy and lives with parents. The only mistake she made was being naive and trusting man she loved.
Your ex took out a loan to pay off joint debts so some of it wasn't hers. The house is in your name. Of course she's going to try to get herself out of the situation you put her in.0 -

You seem to be reading an entirely different post to the rest of us.
To quote the OP:
"My wife and I got married 2 months after buying our house together in October 2008 in joint names."0
