Looking into Newcastle-London sometime in the next 3 months (2 adults and 1 baby who will then be 3-4months old!)... whats the cheapest way - we can either do;

ANY FRIDAY - SUNDAY
or SAT - MON

or SUN-TUES if BANK HOL MONDAY

any help will be great!?

Traveling at the weekend is cheapest.
Book as early as possible, that's the only way to get cheap seats.
I do that journey quite often and my main advice is just to book ASAP.

£20 return per adult according to the GNER website, provided that you are happy to travel offpeak on specified trains both ways.

So how does one actually get this cheap ticket, i am very flexible on travel dates ie am ready to go when one is available in the next few weeks.

But could i get one !!!

If you can put up with the coach journey you can try the following:

https://www.megabus.com

You can expect to pay a lot less than using GNER!
