Parking at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I wonder if anyone can help me with this one ....
Back in Sept 2011, I bought three 'platinum passes' for Blackpool Pleasure beach's 2012 season. They were £99 each, so not an inconsiderable amount, but cheaper than they are now as it was a promotion for buying in advance. They were bought online, on the Pleasure Beach's own website. At the same time, I bought a carpark season ticket, for the princely sum of £6. A bargain, as a day's parking costs the same or more.
When we went to the 'registration event' last month to collect our season tickets, we were told that the parking permit was an error on the website and we couldn't have one. We'd have to apply to get our £6 refunded. Apparently, they used to do season parking permits, for £60, but stopped as the carparks got full with day tickets (earning them more revenue).
I have email confirmation that I have bought and paid for the parking permit. Where do I stand with pursuing them to provide one? Given that they don't sell them any more. They might still exist as a promotional thing, I've not been able to find out. So far, all we've got is fobbed off and snotty attitude. To be honest, I'd have bought it for £60. As it stands, we'll be far less likely to go as often as we would, given the extra parking costs. Which also means we'll be spending less on catering and merchandise in the park.
They've never contacted me regarding the error, not offered to refund the money. As I have bought it, do they have to honour the contract, provide me with the parking permit and swallow their loss?
Many thanks

I would check their terms and conditions before bothering to try and make some sort of a claim for compo. There is on street parking available if you get there early in the morning. Other than that try and find somewhere that offers real value for money on parking. Does it have to be near the pleasure beach or are you willing to travel a little out of the way?0

Sorry cant help with your problem but there is loads of free parking round Blackpool pleasure beach, either at the south side (off the prom , past the big blue hotel and down that road to the right and surrounding streets or the other side of the railway bridge (pleasure beach station) as its residential) or if you go past the pleasure beach towar the north and down station road there's free parking down there too
