No I mean you declare it via say comparethemarket but they DONT filter that fact through to the individual companies. So, when you click on the company you want to purchase from and quickly review your details, it says none next to criminal convictions. If you then change it to yes it wont quote you but asks you to contact them.

Thanks Norman, I was on there a few minutes ago. 2 yr sentence so needs to be declared for the next 10 years!
