My problem is not the supermarket, it's the stuff that throws itself into my trolley. Suddenly, from nowhere two packets of biscuits will jump in. Special biscuits at that, I think they're called amnesia biscuits, because I manage to forget I bought them and certainly forget I ate them... and I wonder at my waistline...

I have set myself a target of only going to the supermarket once a week armed with a list and will only buy what's on the list. I do not look the biscuits or cakes or crisps or books or cheese or wine in the eye!!!!

• Hey Cleggie

Just popping in to say Hi  and good luck with your journey. I aways think that a diary is a great way to keep a track of everything and definitely a good way to reflect. i do it on paper, never quite got around to starting one on here.

Good luck too with your degree and the job hunting.

Sounds like you have had a pretty productive day today.

Have a good non spending weekend.

Will be popping back in to [STRIKE]steal [/STRIKE]borrow ideas. :D

Feel free to borrow any ideas you like!
Thanks for popping in!
• Hi Cleggie:hello:
I'm a mature student too...nearly 40, plodding along with a foundation degree in education studies, which I may top up to a full honours degree when I've finished this soon...we shall see;)
I have 2 teenage girlies (well one almost teen but she's been thinking she's 13 for about a year so will call her a teen as she will be in 3 months:D) - eldest is 14.

I too find the groceries a spend that I really could cut back on - but I love having full cupboards, fridge etc. I also tend to go mad stocking up if I see something we use on offer - hence buying 4 boxes of Belv1ta breakfast biscuits and 4 multipacks of Walkers B@ked this week:o:o Well, they were cheap and they will get eaten...I'd have bought them anyway, that's my defence:rotfl:

Looking forward to more of your musings on your diary:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Hi Pixie,
thanks for saying hi!
Are you planning on being a teacher then? Its something i would love to do, but adult education once the kids are older i think.

I know what you mean about your daughter thinking she is a teen, my son is 12 and by god its like having Kevin and Perry in the house!!
