Saving for Elderly Care - is telehealth an option?

My mum has just developed Alzheimer's and my dad is currently caring for her at home. I am thinking about their long term futures and looking at the finances available. Obviously, some time in the long term future they will both probably have to go into care. Firstly, I would like any ideas on how to plan and save for this, other than thinking about having to sell their house (the last option). Also, in the interim, are there any ways in which I can support my dad while he is looking after Mum that aren't too expensive. I hear that telehealth might be an option?

With regard to Telehealth it would depend on what is available through your parents' local health authority.
