"That Martin has a lot to answer for", so said my wife yesterday. The reason for this was, about a month ago, in his weekly newsletter, there was a tip for a MP3 player from Tesco at £4.97. I bought one but hadn't the faintest idea how to use it. Plus, untill a couple of days ago, I had no sound on my computer, so I was in no hurry to experiment. Once I'd found the on/off sound switch, there was no stopping me. But rather than pester on this site, I though I'd ask my son to assist me.
Whizzing through the procedure without a moments explanation he transferred a CD to the MP3. Great ?, but that was no help to me. I needed to know. All day we worked at it. Eventually after a few words, I now have it sussed out and written down, just in case after a nights sleep I forget.
and the wife ?, huh! say's she. All these years we've been married and you've never listened to music, now, because "Martin says this" you're MP3 mad, "he has got a lot to answer for.
