  • Either he likes paying eBay loads in fees (15p insertion fee for each auction) or someone has got into his Turbolister and screwed him (maybe he !!!!!! his g/f off so she got her own back!)
  • I've heard of sellers listing dummy items like these as 'place holders' to be updated at a later time. For example, one might want to list a large number of items on a free listing day, but not actually have the time or the details to complete the listing. By putting these dummy items on, one can amend them at a later date to something useful.
  • In fact, these items were all listed on '1p Gallery' day a week last Thursday. It would seem the seller 'reserved' too many ads than he needed.

Last year they varied the 'offer' days so each one was slightly different. For example they had a free BIN day, and then a free day as long as you used paypal as a payment option, they didn't have two 'offers' the same in a row.

I think the 1p gallery day counted as the most recent offer, so we probably have a month or so to wait until we get notice of another one.

Usually the announcement leaks out on the Monday ready for an offer day on the Thursday.

I always watch the newsgroups on the Monday/Tuesday just in case as it means I won't list my usual stuff that week as stuff tends not to sell so well. I keep the offer days usually for my hard to shift stuff (ie junk).
