No that is not excessive. It appears a lot because it is winter. If you annualize the figures with your summer figures then for a 4 bedroom house it's quite normal. Do you know how many kWh's you use in a year? I would expect it to be around 20,000kWh per year.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

As above. £35pw on a 4 b/r house in the coldest part of winter is not abnormal at all. £5 a day, 21p per hour.
Post your annual kWh consumption and more meaningful advice can be given.
Have you sorted out your insulation (cavity walls, loft, double glazing etc)?
PS: PPM's cost the same as the supplier's Standard tariff-your saving on a credit meter would be no more than 6%.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
