There is only one thing to do when your not winning....

    ...KEEP GOING!

Are you entering for the small things? Ive had some good wins this year so far but mostly small things that Im thrilled with!

keep plugging away..and remember...slowly, slowly, winny monkey monkey!!

Not won anything since August here, I can see why folks ask about blacklists n things like that :)

Just gotta keep going as said I guess
  • Having no joy either, entered over 1000 comps in Jan and not a thing. Just keep plodding on!

won 2 prizes in January, but nothing in February.

Don't give up, that big prize may come along when you are least expecting it!!
    2019 Prize Total - £0/0 Prizes 2018 Prize Total - £100/1 Prize 2017 Prize Total - £250/2 Prizes
    2016 Prize Total - £650/3 Prizes 2015 Prize Total - £250/5 Prizes 2014 Prize Total - £625/10 Prizes
    2013 Prize Total - £430/5 Prizes
  • Definitely just keep plodding on, I feverishly started entering comps again in January after a break and was feeling a little despondent that I'd not won even a box of chocolates when I had 3 wins this week come in, a monkey towel for my little girl, a beautiful ring (for me, yippie!:T) and then I had a really big ring win (£1700!!)...which I sadly couldn't have as the jewellers were looking for a couple that were not married as it was to be an engagement ring (didn't actually state that in T&Cs though or wouldn't have bothered entering it!) as you may gather :rotfl: I am still ever so slightly gutted about that, but consoling myself that somewhere out there another couple to be betrothed have had their week made!!!
But it has really spurred me on, the wins DO come in if you put the hours in, I like to read the 'I won' board as it gives me faith MSErs CAn and DO win these prizes!

Thank you, THANK YOU to all who post comps!

Me either :( I had a couple of medium wins a few years ago, but nothing to write home about since then. The "I won" board keeps me going, I'd like to think Im storing all my luck up for something big :)

    Keep at it all!!!

    Hi guys,
I think of it as a great big (ok HUGE!) bucket full of raffle tickets, the more we enter the more raffle tickets we have in the bucket, and the great thing is, you NEVER know what prize your ticket might be pulled for.
Comping is a great hobby it definatley brings the what if element to our lifes, just keep entering ..... and a sprinklin of lucky dust to us all xxx

  • come on guys!! Chin up!! Its strange....when I started comping in 2008 I HAMMERED the comps and the biggest prize I won was 100 cans of organic cola (YUCK)!!

But recently, last year and this I have had bigger wins even though people are saying there is less chance of winning what with more poeple going for them etc

The fact is that you could enter 1000 and win nothing or enter 2 and win them both! Thats the addictive and frustrating nature of comping, you just never know when the big one, or for that matter the little ones will come rolling in!!

Enjoy the window shopping and the daydreams of the itv call...and the ever so pleasurable company of the folks on here..

I will have a word with the comping fairy, tell her she needs to give the MSE board a little TLC!
back to comping after a 2 year break!! Mission… to win a gift for all my family for Christmas!
