Is it odd for the groom not to have a wedding ring?

Neither of my parents wear rings, engagement or wedding... I didn't even consider it odd until I was thinking about marriage! Now neither of them having one is a bit different, but it did take me 20 years to realise it!!:T0

I am older than most on here and when we married it was very unusual for the man to have a wedding ring.
It is something that has come in quietly over the years. (Commercially driven)I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

Yes, I'm quickly getting the impression that there is a lot of stuff round weddings that is very commercially driven...
I have to remind myself it's one (lovely) day out of hopefully the rest of my life being happily married, and I mustn't let retailers desire to flog me tons of stuff lead me into debt or feelings of inadequacy!0
