RBS PPI goodwill gesture

Hi All,
i have claimed for mis-sold PPI,against RBS,through a claims company.Who told me not to reply to any letters RBS send me,but to forward letters to THEM instead.
Today,RBS have contacted ME directly, and offered me a "goodwill gesture " of a few thousand pounds !!!!
My dilema is, do i ignore my claims company, and just take the money from RBS direct, after waiting the 28 ish days, OR , do i tell my claims company. Thus losing out on 30% of this RBS offer,at the risk of my claims company gaining me more NET money ?
PLEASE give me your comments, based on your experiences

Many Thanks

EM.

You don't need to tell your claims company, RBS will do that, you have entered a contract with the claims company and they will rightfully expect their 30% and you can probably add on another 20% vat :(
Your claims company can not gain you more than you are entitled to, a "Goodwill gesture" means there are not enough records to warrant paying you more than they have offered. Unless you can supply more records you will get no more, either dealing direct or through the claims company. Well done on the success but you will probably hand over half of it :(
