You can call a number you were given to sign off(well i was given a local number which was for the job centre to call). Oh yes you should tell them asap so maybe if you get a lunch break call then. Does your booklet not say about signing off.0 -

Well done! My son got into a modern apprenticeship. It's been a long haul but he was so lucky to get in and it's been well worth it.0
