ppi offer from lloydstsb, confusion??

hi, i was hoping someone could clear this up for me ive had a read through the threads but cant find anything to help.

ok so i put in a claim about a falsely sold ppi premium. lloyds tsb have replied with an offer of £230 pounds but their calculations have confused me, here is a breakdown of them:

our proposed offer as follows

refund of premiums: £847
early settlements difference: £513
interest at 8% calculaated untill 8th feb2012: £422
previously accepted claim -£1543

total £239

i am unsure where the previusly accepted claim comes from. i had a £5000 loan a few years ago and was unwittingly given ppi. i ended up using the ppi when i lost my job, so i suppose it did come in handy although i did not want it and actually had a family member borrow me the full amount to pay off the loan when i lost my job so it wasnt actually needed, or wanted. can anyone give me some help as to what these calculations are??

thank you in advance

The figures shown above state that you made a claim on the PPI and they are deducting £1543 off your redress because that is the total they paid you when you claimed.
If you definitely never made this claim I would ask them to supply proof of this claim before accepting the offer ;)
    Successes
    Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid :)
    MBNA £3,600 Paid :)
