Is there a way, if you have contributed to a thread, that you can quickly get back to your own entry.
Especially if it is a long thread it would identify where you need to pick the thread up from so you don't have to read through stuff you have read before.

Clicking on the
icon to the left of the thread title takes you to the first unread post in the thread.
You don't need to have contributed to the thread to use it.How do I add a signature?0 -

Yes sorry still can't see what you mean. I cannot see the icon you suggest anywhere.
Do you mean bring the thread up in the list or go to `my subscriptions`.0 -
I don't know if the same works in My Subscriptions, as I don't use that feature personally, so was referring to the forum index pages (eg http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29)
If you look down the list, any that are highlighted in blue are topics that have had new posts since your last visit / since the last time you marked the forum as read. To the left of each topic title you will see the icon I'm taking about.
Edit: I've just added a subscription to test this, and indeed the "Go to first new post" icon does appear if there have been new posts since you last visited the thread. How do I add a signature?0 -

Thanks very much, I see what you mean now.0 -
I do an advanced search for my username to show the threads that I have posted in (ones with new posts are in bold).
Then, after clicking one, you can use the "find" feature in your web browser to jump to the posts you have made on that page of the thread.0
