Connect laptop to LCD

I was wondering what the best way to connect my laptop to my SONY KDL26S2030 Bravia LCD Television were... The TV has these connections:

1 HDMi input
1 PC input
2 scart sockets

I wanted to connect my 360 to the LCD, and I guess that would be connected through the HDMI input. Which leaves the PC input and the scart sockets. The thing is, I had a lot of HDTV videos on my laptop which I wanted to view in HD quality on my LCD, so I'm not sure if you can view it in HD if it is connected via any connection other than the HDMi input.

If worse comes to worst I don't mind taking out 360 cable when using the laptop etc... but it would be much more convenient if I didn't have to.

I have a 5.1 set of speakers already connected to my laptop via sound card, so I would only need to view the video on the LCD screen.

Thanks in advance.
