Browser window jumping down

When I click onto a new page I've browsed to, the page sometimes jumps down a tiny bit, about a cm, its very annoying if I'm trying to click a link, then it sometimes clicks the wrong one.
We use XP and firefox, but I've noticed my neighbours pc does it as well with XP and IE.
Any ideas?

  • I've seen that too.. annoying isn't it?
I think it's when the security information bar appears at the top of the page. The only way to get rid of it would be to turn off the notification....can't remember offhand how to do that. Look in the Tools.
