HSBC graduate PPI

I've finally enterered the PPI reclaim world.
Took out a graduate account with HSBC back for £4,000 in 2003. I've still kept the web conversation I had with the agent where there was the hard sell of PPI and no alternative given without it.
Sent my letter last week to the HSBC complaints address as advertised. Anyone had experience of joy dating back to 2003?
